One morning, after getting off work at GM, 18 years old, I arrived to my family home driveway, which had at least 10 inches of snow from a big storm the previous night shift. My Chevy S-10 was stick shift and only 2 wheel drive, it did not stand a chance. In fact it got stuck soon as I pulled in to the first few feet of the 80 or 100 yards of buried driveway.

However, that all changed when I took a shovel and filled the truck bed with fresh and heavy snow. It drove with zero hesitation the rest of the way.

I feel it’s important today to keep a broad perspective, when you are surrounded by a seemingly impenetrable obstacle, perhaps – with a tiny adjustment of perspective, you will see that new problem also brought along with it a solution. #makeyourownpath
